JP1187 IPSC Open Class Shotgun

The new "open" configuration shotgun is based on the Remington 1187 Sportsman, with 26" vent rib barrel, integral right or left hand biased compensator EDM'd right into the barrel behind the choke tubes, a JPoint Micro-Electronic reflex sight installed directly on the barrel and all the other accessories needed for a truly competitive open shotgun.

We include with the shotgun is the Bennelli style extended op handle, custom made speed load carrier extension, Arredondo Tec-Loader feed ramp and the new Nordic Components 10+1 mag extension. The trigger has been reworked to a smooth 3.5 to 4 pound release and the action tuned for use with low recoil loads.

For open class 3 gun competition, the JPoint Micro-Electronic reflex sight melted into the rib with our new mount is the ticket. Its profile is almost invisible and allows for unobstructed two eye shooting for maximum speed with bird shot loads and carbine like precision with slugs.



JP1187T Tactical Shotgun

If you intend to shoot in the USPSA limited class, tactical competition, or just need an excellent home defense shotgun, our Remington 1187 Tactical fits the bill. Featured with a 22” rifle sight barrel with screw in chokes, the Tactical 11-87 will handle slugs accurately or pattern well with buck shot or bird shot. Featuring the new Nordic Components 8+1 round mag extension kit, the JP1187 tactical shotgun carries the maximum legal for multi-gun limited or tactical class.

We modify the gas system to allow reliable function with reduced recoil slugs and buck shot, which is a must for a controllable competition tactical shotgun and really makes the most sense for a defense shotgun also. There is no need for full power slugs and buck shot for a defense load. We install the Easy Loader extended follower for rapid single loading without having to hit the carrier release button- also a must for speed loading under pressure. We do a reliability work-over on the fire control group and give a crisp, smooth trigger release for controllable accuracy with difficult slug shots. The extended bolt handle also allows for quicker operation under pressure. Sling studs front and rear are included or tactical carry. Fiber optic front and rear sights make for a seriously fast sight acquisition and better precision on the difficult shots than the factory sights.
