Weaver V-3 Scope
Weaver also has some excellent scopes for the dollar. Most of us can’t afford to mount thousand dollar scopes on every rifle we own. We have to compromise sometimes. I use Weaver optics on a number of my rifles as they really fit the bill. They definitely deliver on the five necessary qualities and also strike a very workable compromise in the optical triangle and at a price that you can live with. The V-3 is one of only a few low power variables that feature true one power on the low end of the magnification range. This allows for true two eyes open reflexive engagement similar to a dot sight. Three power on the top end is adequate for most practical shooting out to 300 yards or so. It makes and excellent choice for an action rifle for multi-gun tactical optics class for anyone on a budget. I think it’s one of the best kept secrets for the price!
Weaver V-10 Scope (shown in gloss black finish)
The V-10 is an all-around do-everything scope with a very wide field at 2X and enough magnification at 10 power for some serious accuracy. It is a fixed parallax scope pre-set at about 125 yards, which allows for nearly parallax free shooting from about 50 yards to infinity.
Weaver V-16 Scope
There V-16 and V-24 are parallax correctable down to 10 meters, have excellent glass and semi-target knobs. They will shoot the accuracy potential of any rifle.
