In the fall of 2005 I was, for the first time, the owner of a rifle, pistol and shotgun. I�d heard of 3 Gun but didn�t know much about it, other than it sounded like good times. It so happened that there was a local match scheduled within the next couple of weeks, so I signed up and went. I had no idea what I was doing, my equipment was all wrong, but I had a blast and finished in the top half. Above all else, though, I was hooked!

Since then I�ve been competing steadily. Over time I�ve racked up several wins at the local level in Tac Scope. In 2010 I decided it was time to get serious and began competing on a larger stage: SMM3G, Ironman, Rocky Mountain and others. It was here that my deficiencies as a shooter became readily apparent and where I found motivation to begin training in earnest.

Having good, reliable equipment is half the battle in 3 Gun. My 3 Gun battery is now in its third iteration, and I�ve been running a JP CTR02 in competition since 2009, now on its second barrel. What a marvelous piece of American engineering. Thank you, JP, for all you do to support our passion. You are truly a class act.
