It's been a busy November around JP this year. Seems like there're always good parking spots available with everyone out hunting, fishing, and traveling to matches.
The month kicked off with our big celebrity PR-1 class down at the Blue Steel Ranch with Larry Correia. Larry and several of his most committed fans made the trip to learn the fundamentals of long-range precision shooting from our lead instructor, Brian Whalen. Fun and knowledge were plentiful, and we can't wait to see Larry back again for PR-2 next year. Plus, we're excited to see how all his new-found knowledge plays into the next Monster Hunter installment. If you're curious for more, Larry wrote up a great review of the course over at his blog.
We also had a few team members out this month at major matches around the country. James Leffler drove out to Rockcastle Shooting Center in Kentucky for the Blue Ridge Mountain 3-Gun. At the same time, our own Adam Burt and teammate Krystal Dunn were shooting the Competition Dynamics Team Safari down at the Blue Steel Ranch. Of course, to make things interesting, both were sporting brand new SCR-11™s chambered in Federal's big debut: the .224 Valkyrie, coming soon to a JP rifle near you.
For our first Pro Post this month, we have James's match review fresh off the Blue Ridge. Plus, we'll be following that up soon with Adam and Krystal's after action report on the Team Safari and shooting the Valkyrie, so watch for that.
