Emily is a sophomore in high school and currently enrolled at LeTourneau University taking dual enrollment courses. She started competing at major matches in 2018. She can often be found on the shooting range several times a week at East Texas Rifle & Pistol Club with her sister and dad. She remembers going to the range as a young child and shooting 22s with her family. Her first rifle was a camouflage Crickett. When she is not at the range, she enjoys cooking, gaming, music and art.
She is a 5-Division Grand Master and currently holds four Lady World Titles in Steel Challenge. For the past two years, she has been a Certified Range Officer with Steel Challenge Endorsement. She enjoys the outdoors and hunting. Several times a year she volunteers on hunts with the Texas Youth Hunting Program.
In the future, she hopes to make Grandmaster in Carry Optics Division in Steel Challenge. She also hopes to continue improving in Steel Challenge and one day claim the Overall World Title in several of the divisions she participates in.
